Ethics & Policies

My name is Asali and I am a queer Black femme healer. I am an intuitive tarot and oracle reader, led by my own ancestral guides and channeling yours during your session. My healing work is rooted in using self-care as a means to disrupt systems of oppression by contributing in some way to your beautiful expansion and growth.

Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” – Audre Lorde

Moved by the light of ancestor warrior Audre Lorde, I affirm that when we take the time to seek for ourselves means of nourishment and elevation, when we take the time to prioritize caring for our mind, body, and spirit, we practice a radical act of resistance. Seeking the cards is one of those means by which we harness the wisdom and insight of the spirits that guide us, as well as honor our own intuition.

I am passionate that the means to care and be cared for must be economically accessible to all communities which is why I offer a sliding scale for all my offerings. Sliding scale means that I offer a number of options for exchange of my healing services while still sustaining myself as a healer. Sliding scale is a care and honor system, and I trust that you will select the level of exchange that is most accessible to you.

In order for us to best collaborate, please note:

  • You must be over 18.
  • You may ask Yes/No questions, however please note that tarot works best with open-ended queries that allow for a full perspective and the answer you receive from me will be guiding, never ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
  • To respect other people’s energy, only ask questions about yourself. You may query about your relationship to others, for example: “How can I better create healthy boundaries with my partner?”
  • Your tarot reading is not a substitute for medical or legal advice. You are responsible for any actions your take following your reading.
  • Respectfully, exchange is due before your reading.
